These are thermosetting molding compounds that are either pressed into components or processed by injection molding, often in large production runs. They consist of thermosetting resin systems, glass fibers, mineral fillers, and additives, and enable the cost-effective production of complex, high-strength components. The most important application areas include the automotive industry, the construction industry, and the electrical and electronics industries. Thanks to their high strength, excellent dimensional stability, electrical insulation properties, and corrosion resistance\u2014combined with good fire-retardant properties\u2014SMC and BMC materials offer a high-performance and cost-effective solution for demanding production applications.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our working group, experts from across the entire value chain come together to exchange ideas. The focus here is on materials marketing.
