V. and AVK-TV GmbH<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AVK is the <strong>oldest interest group<\/strong> in the plastics industry in Germany:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1924 &#8211; Foundation of the Technical Association e. V.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1959 &#8211; Foundation of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Verst\u00e4rkte Kunststoffe e. It represents its members along the <strong>entire value chain<\/strong> <strong>in the field of reinforced plastics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The list of members includes raw material producers and suppliers as well as processors, mechanical engineers, engineering offices, testing authorities and scientific institutes. The membership structure includes small and medium-sized companies as well as (multinational) corporations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The AVK&#8217;s member companies are predominantly located <strong>throughout Germany<\/strong> and in neighboring European countries.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organizational integration<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AVK is integrated into a <strong>strong (partner) network<\/strong> within Germany and Europe:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AVK is a founding member of <a href=\"http:\/\/composites-germany.org\/index.php\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\n  <strong>Composites Germany<\/strong>\n<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The AVK is one of the four sponsoring associations of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gkv.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GKV<\/a> <\/strong>(General Association of the Plastics Processing Industry) and is represented there both in the management and on the board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AVK is a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eucia.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\n  <strong>EuCIA<\/strong>\n<\/a> (European umbrella organization of the composites industry) and is also represented on its board.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an AVK member, you are entitled to vote in DIN and CEN committees.<br\/>You can also use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/12707353\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn group &#8220;Composites\/Fiber Composites&#8221;<\/a> moderated by AVK.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Full name\/legal form AVK &#8211; Industrievereinigung Verst\u00e4rkte Kunststoffe e.
