The head of HOFZET is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Josef Endres.<br\/>HOFZET&#8217;s research focuses on fiber- and fabric-reinforced composites with a polymer matrix, technical wood and natural fibers as well as synthetic fibers and bio-based fillers. The evaluation of material components, the development and optimization of sustainable (bio)hybrid materials and the further development and adaptation of manufacturing processes for fiber-reinforced components are the main focus of HOFZET&#8217;s activities. Short, long and continuous fiber as well as fabric-reinforced materials with thermoset or thermoplastic matrices are considered.
