In addition to design principles in the sense of system and structural lightweight construction, e.g. through topology optimization, lightweight construction primarily includes material lightweight construction, e.g. using fibre-reinforced plastics. In addition to static and dynamic-mechanical structural analyses, material simulation also deals with complex fluid simulations and the modeling of materials at the micro level, such as in more complex fatigue and crack propagation calculations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Technology Campus Neustadt an der Donau offers a wide range of services and cooperation opportunities as part of its specialist focus. In addition to public research projects with and without partners from industry and research, the portfolio includes R&amp;D projects as well as simulation, production, failure analysis and testing orders from a wide range of industries.
