(STFI)<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On April 3, 2025, the STFI hosted an academy breakfast. In addition to donuts, bagels and coffee, the<br\/>topic of employee motivation was on the table, bringing together companies from the Saxon textile industry<br\/>and representatives from Chemnitz University of Technology, the Federal Employment Agency and Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce.<br\/>Aspects such as &#8220;learned resignation&#8221; and the burden and pleasure<br\/>of work were highlighted in an exciting panel discussion. The dilemma for many companies is that financial incentives or a vacation plus<br\/>only have a short-term effect. During the discussion, it became clear that identification with the work and individual<br\/>scope for action are a sustainable basis that can increase motivation. The experts were<br\/>unanimous in their opinion that employee identification with the<br\/>products manufactured can not only improve motivation, but also ultimately the economic results of companies<br\/>. In addition, the basic message of a company must be clear and lived by all management<br\/>levels.<br\/>From the range of experiences of the entrepreneurs, the guests heard how much determined communication<br\/>ons work change in companies requires and that this must take place at eye level.<br\/>The regulated exchange of information in shift operations through store floor management in particular offers potential for<br\/>this. Nevertheless, individual employee development has an enormous role to play.<br\/>Through<br\/>suitable qualifications and further training, employees can take on more responsible tasks and become role models for their colleagues.<br\/>Incidentally, the STFI Academy&#8217;s portfolio of extensive training measures eligible for funding is available to textile companies for practice-oriented further training.<br\/> The first courses start in September<br\/>ber.
