Technologies, trends and innovations in the field of \u201clight and plastics\u201d are the focus of this year’s LIGHTINGcon focus day on June 25, 2025 in L\u00fcdenscheid. The focus day is dedicated to the fascinating combination of light and plastics. Basic lighting technology principles will be explained, modern future topics will be highlighted and current design trends will be presented. A table-top exhibition rounds off the program. <\/p>\n\n

Light plays a central role in everyone’s everyday life. Whether as background lighting, for orientation or as a purposefully placed design element – light can be used in a variety of ways. <\/p>\n\n

Nevertheless, the targeted control of light to achieve the desired effect requires a great deal of experience and specialist knowledge. <\/p>\n\n

On 25.06.2025, participants can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of lighting design. The LIGHTINGcon focus day – formerly the Lighting Design Conference – offers an overview of the state of the art and innovations in the key topic of light and plastics. <\/p>\n\n

Innovative solutions will be presented from various product areas, such as<\/p>\n\n

For example, new types of light sources, light guides and materials for light guidance and light scattering. In addition, current application examples will illustrate interactions and suitable manufacturing processes. A table-top exhibition rounds off the program. <\/p>\n\n

The evening before, there will be an opportunity for informal discussions between the participants.<\/p>\n\n
