Basically, bio-based fiber composites can be processed using conventional manufacturing processes.<br \/>\nHowever, there are still challenges to fully exploiting the potential of this class of fiber composites.<br \/>\nBio-composites are currently used in the automotive industry in particular, for example for interior fittings or body parts.<br \/>\nHowever, bio-based composites have also established themselves in the sporting goods industry or as a material for furniture.
