The increasing fusion of biological principles with technical applications opens up new perspectives for additive manufacturing with polymers. Under the guiding theme “Biologization of Technology”, the “Additive Manufacturing with Polymers” expert committee cordially invites scientists, developers and users from research and industry to submit contributions.
The committee is looking for current research work, innovative applications and practical developments at the interface of additive manufacturing, materials science and biologically inspired technologies. The focus is particularly on
- Bio-inspired design and manufacturing approaches
- Bio-based and sustainable polymer materials
- Functionalized surfaces and adaptive structures
- Additive manufacturing for medical and biotechnological applications
- Tissue engineering, biofabrication and hybrid systems
- Digitalization and AI to simulate biological processes
The aim of the event is to discuss current trends and challenges and to promote the
interdisciplinary exchange between science and industry. We welcome
contributions from universities, research institutions and companies. Abstracts should concisely present the
objectives, methodology and key results of the work.
