6th Bremen Network Days

The “Bremen Adhesives Days” have been a staple since 2003—not only for former participants in the Fraunhofer IFAM’s advanced training courses on adhesive technology. Since 2007, continuing education courses in the field of fiber-reinforced composites have also been held here in Bremen—and since 2016, Fraunhofer IFAM has also offered the “Bremen Fiber-Reinforced Composite Days,” providing an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in fiber-reinforced composite technology, maintain old contacts, and forge new ones. The Bremen Fiber-Reinforced Composites Days are therefore an ideal complement to the courses offered by the Fiber-Reinforced Composites Continuing Education Center and, at the same time, provide conference participants who have not yet taken the courses with an interesting and up-to-date source of information. At the same time, the aim is to create a platform for discussing challenges and solutions in working with fiber-reinforced composites—“from practice for practice.”

This event is recognized for the recertification of Fraunhofer IFAM’s FVK continuing education certificates. It also serves as continuing education for composite and adhesive supervision personnel and field personnel in accordance with DIN 2304, DIN EN 17460, and DIN 35255.

The “5th Bremen Fiber Composites Conference” took place on November 8 and 9, 2023, at Fraunhofer IFAM. More than 60 participants attended exciting presentations covering a wide range of topics and engaged in in-depth discussions with the speakers.

The “6th Bremen Fiber Composites Conference” will take place on November 11 and 12, 2026!
