2nd Zittau Plastics and Lightweight Construction Conference: “Green and economical too?”
29. January, 2025 - 8:30 - 16:30
Sustainability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions are currently the focus of research and industry. The plastics industry in particular needs to find new ways to reduce environmental impacts such as marine pollution, low recycling rates and dependence on crude oil. At the same time, however, plastics can also be a key to achieving climate targets, for example through lightweight construction, recyclability and bio-based resources.
But how can technical plastic components be produced sustainably and economically at the same time?
Experts from science and industry will provide answers and practical insights at the 2nd Zittau Plastics and Lightweight Construction Conference (ZKTL ) on 29.01.2025 at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. In addition to an exciting and varied program, you can expect inspiring insights into the latest research results and practical examples from the industry. Highlights of the event:
- Presentations on innovations and best-practice examples by top-class speakers
- Simultaneous translation of lectures for guests from Poland and the Czech Republic
- Networking with experts from D, PL and CZ
- Accompanying exhibition with sample components and semi-finished products
- Guided tours of the university and Fraunhofer plastics laboratories
- Lunch and drinks included
The event is free of charge, but places are limited. Register now and secure your place at THE cross-border industry get-together for plastics and lightweight construction in the border triangle: www.zklt.info
