6th Lightweighting Summit “Lightweight construction as a driver for innovation and competitiveness”

With the Lightweighting Summit, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) organizes an annual conference on the topic of lightweight construction with a high technical and political profile. The 6th Lightweighting Summit will take place on April 1, 2025 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. as part of HANNOVER MESSE under the title “Lightweight construction as a driver for innovation and competitiveness” in the Maple Leaf Room (formerly the NewYork Room).

The conference will focus on increasing efficiency, conserving resources, boosting competitiveness and industry diversity.

You can expect top-class keynotes, a diverse panel discussion – which will shed light on the innovation potential of lightweight construction from different angles – and a pitch format for innovative research projects. A get-together will round off the event.
