Fiber-reinforced plastics/composites are extremely heterogeneous, both in terms of their composition and their range of applications. In recent decades, these materials have been used in a large number of very different areas and applications. The possible processing methods are just as varied as the composition. The seminar provides an overview of today’s areas of application and the most common processing methods. Different process groups are presented and their specifics, limitations and advantages are highlighted.

The seminar presents the common manufacturing processes in a compact form and shows which processes are best suited to specific requirements.
