With more than 35,000 articles, we offer what is probably the most diverse product range in the world. We use a comprehensive selection of high-quality materials in the manufacture of our products. Our materials

Whether plastic sheets with functional layers or high-performance thermoplastics with processing temperatures of over 200 °C – with the new technology center, SIMONA is able to bring more development projects with new materials and material combinations to series maturity more quickly. This is the first time that the research and development departments have worked together in one place. Short distances and state-of-the-art multifunctional machinery will further enhance SIMONA’s innovative strength.
In the mobility market segment, our subsidiary Boltaron offers an extensive product range of calendered, extruded or press-laminated sheets for aircraft interiors.
With the acquisition of US extrusion company Premier Material Concepts, LLC (PMC), SIMONA has expanded its portfolio to include thermoforming applications.

Our process technologies

At SIMONA, customizing does not just mean individual formats, colors and dimensions tailored to the highest requirements. This is because the growing variety of applications for plastics is also increasing the demand for individual settings. Whether antistatic, electrically conductive, chemically resistant, antibacterial, anti-slip or “smooth as a child’s bottom”, we produce plastic products with special capabilities at a consistently high level of quality.

Application fields of the future

Mobility, construction, agriculture, remediation, water treatment and mining are market segments in which SIMONA is already represented. We will continue to systematically develop further areas of application for our plastic products and thus occupy attractive niches.

With a new organizational structure for our EMEA business comprising five business lines, we are pursuing the goal of a clear focus on the end user. Customer-centric thinking and action are at the heart of this. Realizing this in terms of growth in all market segments requires a special degree of cooperation: between new teams – and across sectors. GrowTogether on many levels. And not just in Europe. On our way to becoming a global company, we are focusing on process and application orientation at all levels.
This new strategic direction will help us gain market share in established core markets and tap into potential in new application areas by expanding our product and service offering and increasing our focus on end customers and applications.
