At the beginning of March 2025, the SKZ Plastics Center and Dopak started their cooperation. Dopak has been an integral part of the plastics market in Poland for many decades in the areas of plastics processing machines and injection molding and already represents various players in the industry on the Polish market.
“Dopak is closely linked to the plastics industry and therefore knows the needs of potential customers. Together we can actively raise the profile of the SKZ in Poland and further emphasize Dopak’s extensive knowledge of the Polish plastics industry,” says Matthias Ruff, Head of Sales Education & Research at the SKZ.
Selected SKZ training courses available
With the new partnership, Dopak is expanding its range of further training courses with SKZ training courses. These include, for example, the areas of extrusion technology, recycling technology and additive manufacturing. The training courses are offered as classroom training at the SKZ headquarters in Würzburg, Germany, and as on-site training in Poland at the customer’s premises or at the Dopak technical center. The live online courses are broadcast from the SKZ online studio. Web-based training is also part of the portfolio. In the area of further training, the SKZ is a knowledge provider from store floor to C-level. The institute’s research and development services also extend to the Polish plastics market.
SKZ has been active internationally for years
“We offer our customers the opportunity to carry out difficult and complex research projects that require advanced infrastructure and state-of-the-art knowledge, and we are convinced that the new partnership will enable SKZ to support the Polish market with its expertise in this area,” says Andre Steiner, Head of Foreign Trade at Dopak.
“The SKZ has been active internationally for years, but we have not really been present in Poland with our activities until now. This will change with the new partnership and we are looking forward to it,” adds Dr. Benjamin Baudrit, Deputy Managing Director Education & Research at SKZ.
