The third edition of the SMCCREATE conference, organized by AVK and the European Alliance for SMC BMC, will once again take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 4 and 5 November 2025. The event will bring together international experts to discuss the latest developments and applications in the field of SMC/BMC.
SMC and BMC – innovative materials for modern designs
SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) and BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) are high-performance fiber composites that are particularly suitable for the production of lightweight, shape-complex components – they combine structural properties with a smooth surface. For this reason, SMC and BMC are increasingly being used in a wide range of end applications and markets.

Over one and a half days, leading companies and research institutions such as AOC, Owens Corning, Menzolit and TU Delft will present current findings, best practices and innovative solutions relating to the use of SMC and BMC in modern design processes.
Participants can expect a total of 15 presentations on the topics of market & trends, sustainability and design.
