Trägergesellschaft Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid e.V. elects new board of directors

Lüdenscheid Plastics Institute

The industry is facing major challenges, with the weak economy, high energy costs and international competitive pressure putting pressure on the economy. A shortage of skilled workers, increasing regulatory requirements and digitalization pose additional challenges for SMEs. Transformation is therefore required at all levels. After a dynamic phase, the sponsoring association of the Lüdenscheid Plastics Institute is consistently focusing on the future with a newly elected board and elected a new board at its most recent general meeting. Sven Braatz (Hotset GmbH) takes over the chairmanship and replaces the long-standing chairman Matthias Poschmann. Andreas Balla (Murtfeldt Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG) was newly elected as Deputy Chairman. Other board members are Thomas Bücker (Grässlin Süd GmbH), Martin Herms (Albrecht JUNG GmbH & Co. KG), Dr. Michael Neumann (Zimmermann Formen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH), Felix Schmolke (KAISER GmbH & Co. KG) and Albrecht Weipert (HB-Therm GmbH). Dr. Fabian Schleithoff (SIHK zu Hagen) is a member of the committee as managing director of the association.

Matthias Poschmann (Poschmann Kunststofftechnik), Marcus Schramm (Erco GmbH), Prof. Dr. Jutta Rump (Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences, Institute for Employment and Employability), Andreas Stoß (KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik GmbH & Co. KG) and Benjamin Wilms (Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH) have left the Executive Board. With their many years of commitment, the departing members of the Executive Board played a decisive role in shaping the development of the Institute and provided valuable impetus. They deserve our sincere thanks for their commitment and achievements.
