This guide provides an overview of a selection of relevant laws, requirements and guidelines in the area of environmental and occupational safety. This thematic context is framed by a brief introduction to the topics of “composites” and “sustainability”. It also explains another topic that has increasingly become the focus of component manufacturing in recent years, namely the creation of closed “material cycles”.
The primary objectives of our guidelines are to:
- raise awareness of the topics of occupational safety, environmental protection and sustainability at
, highlight their interdependencies, and - to provide an updated reference work with relevant legal regulations for participating
companies, to contribute to an objective discussion beyond the
industry boundaries and thus to increase knowledge about an
extraordinary material
