Thermoplastic composite pipes and profiles are among the most innovative developments in the field of fiber-reinforced plastics and are becoming increasingly important. By combining continuous fiber reinforcements with thermoplastic matrix materials, they offer a combination of low weight, high mechanical performance, and excellent corrosion and chemical resistance. In addition, they enable short processing times, welding and forming processes, as well as new approaches to repair, recycling, and circular economy. Due to these properties, thermoplastic composite pipes and profiles offer great potential for sustainable applications in mobility, infrastructure, energy, and plant engineering.
In addition to professional exchange, our working group focuses primarily on marketing. Over the past few months, a comprehensive technical article was written, which is currently being distributed via the AVK press distribution list and social media channels. At the upcoming working group meeting, the focus will once again be on professional exchange, and several guest speakers will provide updates on new developments.
