DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH organizes trade fairs for the process industry. ACHEMA, the world forum for the industry, has been a fixed industry meeting place for almost 100 years. It takes place every three years in Frankfurt am Main. AchemAsia is the counterpart for the Asian market. With its international exhibitions, DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH paves the way for innovations in the process industry, the driving force of the global economy.
The DECHEMA Research Institute (DFI) conducts interdisciplinary research in the fields of chemical engineering, materials and biotechnology. It sees itself as a bridge-builder from basic research to industrial application. The DFI continues DECHEMA’s five-decade-long tradition of conducting its own research in the form of a non-profit foundation under civil law.
