In a marketing document, GRP pools (glass fiber reinforced plastic) are presented as being significantly inferior to PP pools (polypropylene). In the following, the individual claims are critically examined and compared with current technical, material science and industry-specific findings. The aim is to assess whether these statements are exaggerated, false or technically justified – and whether they are likely to cause unjustified damage to the reputation of GRP pool manufacturers.
