SPIRAL Recycled Thermoplastic Composites BV is an independent company specializing in the collection, processing, and supply of recycled carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites and compounds. SPIRAL RTC closes the circularity loop for thermoplastic composite production waste and end-of-life components, transforming them into high-performance recycled fiber reinforced materials.
SpiralRTC delivers recycled carbon fiber reinforced compounds with mechanical performance, chemical resistance, and fire retardancy on par with virgin materials. Supported matrices include PEEK, PAEK, PEI, PPS, and PA, all reinforced with recycled carbon fiber, enabling engineers to specify familiar high-performance thermoplastics. The low-energy recycling process achieves near-100% material yield, ensuring consistent compound quality and reliable supply.
The resulting compounds are compatible with injection molding, additive manufacturing, and compression molding. Target applications span a range of demanding industries: non-corroding gears, bearings, and structural components for maritime and offshore; lightweight structural parts for aerospace and defense; housings and brackets for energy systems; and wear-resistant components for industrial machinery and e-mobility.
